Tactical Emergency Medical Responder (T-EMR)

T-EMR is the highest civilian level of training available below the EMT-B designation. EMR-level training is typically offered to Law Enforcement, CERT Teams, Park Rangers, and other personnel not involved in patient transport. Our program is designed to provide non-EMS responders with more depth and exposure to first-aid training topics to provide richer and more advanced training. It meets and exceeds all workplace first aid training requirements and satisfies the desire to learn more than just basic first aid with a tactical element without the burden of EMS provider training and certification.

Prerequisite: Healthcare Provider or BLS CPR

Our Tactical Emergency Medical Responder Course is an intensive 60-hour, 5-day program designed to prepare participants for high-stress, high-risk environments where tactical medical response is critical. This course is ideal for law enforcement, security professionals, and concerned citizens seeking to enhance their skills in providing life-saving medical care under fire or during tactical operations.

Course Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Tactical Medical Training: Learn to manage life-threatening injuries in hostile environments, focusing on hemorrhage control, airway management, shock treatment, and other critical care techniques based on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines.

  • Care Under Fire and Prolonged Field Care: Train in providing care under active threat, including "Stop the Bleed" techniques, wound packing, tourniquet application, and managing casualties in prolonged field care scenarios when evacuation is delayed.
